Chimista makes the use of powerful yet green safe solvents possible
with a performance that exceeds outdated solvents. AEP-100™ is a
powerful, high performance, employee and environmentally safe
solvert once reserved for high tech applications such as electronics
and medical products. AEP-100™ offers high solubility power for
various cleaners, dyes, resins and polymers.
AEP-100™ has been used effectively as a reducer for PVDF high
fluropolymer resin based paint systems. These systems utilize toloul/butylcarbitol,
xylol/butylcarbitol or MIBK as primary paint system reducers. The
percentages of these chemicals used is between 28 and 32%. AEP-100
has been effectively used as a drop in replacement for these
chemicals at between 5 and 15% depending on color.

As a replacement for toloul/butylcarbitol and other hazardous

- Lower percentage of AEP-100 required to adequately reduce
PVDF coatings
- Maintains a high solids ratio
- Provides improved wet film to dry film rations translating
to less passes to build dry film thickness
- No orange peel in finished product
- significantly reduces VOC and HAP emissions from curing
operations
AEP-100™ is also available in a high purity
form for electronics cleaning know as AEP-100HP™. Also a very low
odor version is available and it is known as AEP-100H™
